This afternoon we announced to the kids who have been with us all week that we had rented a real soccer field for a tournament on Saturday.
They sent up a huge cheer as many of them may have never been able to play on a grass field that is full sized.
The church in Managua has rented the field and a bus, and we will bring 4 teams to play in a tournament... 4 teams from Manchester and 1 team from Canada.
Many of the older boys have started to help us organize the kids, referee games and break up little fights.
Many of our team members are starting to make great connections with individual kids who keep coming back day after day.
The kids don’t ever want to let our team leave, and are always excited when we return.
Tomorrow is our final day of soccer clinics and Friday we will go to an active volcano and see some of the Nicaraguan sights.
