All of our short-term missions teams are back from their summer adventures, but in reality, there is still work to do!

While the physical, actually going work is done, there is still much we can do, in particular, much we can pray for.

Pray for...

  • the children whose lives were impacted by the Nicaragua and Eagle's Cove teams, that the seeds that were planted when the teams were there would continue to grow.
  • the team members themselves, that all they learned while on their mission would not be forgotten, but that they themselves would continue to walk in what God has done in them.
  • the missionaries in Eagle's Cove and Nicaragua.
  • Alicia Black and Shannon Briese, who are on missions of their own in different parts of Africa.
  • how you can be involved in serving your community, or on a short-term missions opportunity in the coming year.
You can read both Alicia and Shannon's blogs by clicking on their names to the right {under PORTICO's 2010 Missions Endeavors}, to keep up with what they are doing. Feel free to leave comments on their blog posts, to let them know that you're keeping up with them, as well as praying.

Summer may be winding to a close, but there is still much we can do...
